Book Review: Grounded

Title: Grounded
Publisher: Worthy Publishing
Release Date: May 7, 2013

In the first installment of the \”Windy City Stories\” series, Grace Meredith is Contemporary Christian Music artist at what seems like the height of her career. Just coming off a highly successful tour, she is blindsided by her fiance\’ Roger who breaks their engagement because he can no longer handle her tour schedule. The emotional toll on her mind and her voice causes Grace to reevaluate her life and her ministry.

Grounded deals with real life issues like fear along with the emotional impact of a broken engagement. For the most part the characters are dynamic and relate-able. The cohesiveness of the story with two authors is also appealing. Overall, the story is an interesting, light read which might just leave you waiting impatiently for the next book in the series.

Grounded is currently available for pre-order via Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Christianbook.com.
