30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 1

2015 Has been an interesting year to say the least. While making my way through the usual ups and downs of life (which has included an awful lot of downs in the past few years) I realized something: I haven\’t really stopped to be thankful for the things that are good. I\’ve pretty much been concentrating on the bad stuff and trying to overcome it all.

So, thus, \”30 Days of Thankfulness\” was born. Every day in the month of November, I will be exploring something (or someone) that I am thankful for in my life. This is my exercise to help me realize all the wonderful things I do have and how they actually do outweigh the unfortunate bumps in the road. Here it goes:

Today I am thankful for: God and the freedom to worship as I choose in this country.

As religious persecution escalates around the world, I am deeply thankful for my God and where I live.

What are you thankful for today?
