Title: A Christmas Prince (Only available on Netflix)
Synopsis: Amber is feeling utterly unappreciated at her job a junior editor until her boss sends her on the story of a lifetime: To follow the possible abdication of a prince who has been MIA since his father died a year ago. The press conference at the palace is a flop but Amber manages to stick around while masquerading as a tutor to the prince\’s younger sister.
Why You Should Watch: Yes, this film follows the usual romance novel checklist: Boy meets girl, tumbling in snow ensues, Cinderella makeover moment follows, someone says the title as a line of dialogue… But you know what? There\’s a pretty good twist in this one that even I didn\’t see coming. Not so predictable which is always a good thing.
This one is also family friendly. You can watch with your mum and your niece! In fact, this one is approved by none other than my Mum. We had the good fortune to enjoy it together.
Lastly, it was filmed on location in Romania and the castle is a treat along with the scenery.
