Happy Friday! Hope you all had a great week or at least managed to find the time to curl up with a good book and a cup of tea. It was that sort of a week. Let me tell you! Which is why scouring the internet for fun escapism was truly a pleasure. I hope you\’ll enjoy the little bits I managed to find…
2) If you haven\’t seen Hidden Figures, please give it a try! Finally saw the film and absolutely loved the cast and the writing. And if you\’ve already seen it, I hope you\’ll watch it again… Hidden Figures is that good. I\’m planning another go at it after work tonight and have already ordered the book.
3) If you need a little distraction today (potentially paired with some friendly competition), Trivia Crack is a good app to try. And you can definitely best me if you have even the slightest understanding of football. (Curse you, football trivia!!) It\’s still fun. I promise!
4) A really good way to get me to read a recipe email is to make it about breakfast muffins. Admittedly, my usual breakfast fare is generally a hearty oatmeal or an omelette but I do love a good muffin now and then. The Green Smoothie and Apple Oatmeal varieties are on my to-do list… and I really want to try the Cranberry-Cornmeal recipe, too!
5) I know you need another fun song stuck in your head today (with classroom toys, of course!) Camila Cabello\’s outfit reminds me of Carmen Miranda (sans the fruit hat).
