Happy Friday! Hope you all had a great week like these middle schoolers who have a really cool cheerleader on their way to class. (He\’s welcome to stand outside my office building any day of the week!) Today is the last day of August. Can you believe it? I didn\’t think so! Well, to ease into September, and to make your Friday go just a bit happier, I hope you\’ll enjoy these \”5 Things.\”
1) Hopefully, you\’ll enjoy \”Kids Meet an Opera Singer\” as much as I did. These are some very smart kids and the singer\’s voice is gorgeous. I hope the experience inspires a new generation of opera fans!
2) Even Batman fears speeding tickets? A dramatic traffic stop… and a brave police officer. I don\’t usually read video comments but some of them are pretty hilarious in this case… I, too, was impressed that the BMW signaled before going around the police car.
3) Would you consider your state \”lazy?\” Well, apparently, someone has decided to quantify the laziest states in the union. I think #1 is pretty surprising but my state\’s rank is not!
4) Google is stepping up to help veterans find jobs. This is beyond cool because there\’s an opportunity to find jobs with Google business partners but also veteran-owned businesses. Well done, Google!
5) This casserole from Delish just sounded really good. Basically, any recipe with spinach, artichokes, and cheese sounds awesome in my mind. I\’ll be giving this one a try soon!
