5 Things: Novembering Edition

Happy Friday and Happy November! Hope you all had a great week and managed to ration the Halloween candy to last at least through the weekend. Winter is creeping in early here in the Duke City. Last week there was actually snow and this week, we\’ve already dipped into the 20\’s and 30\’s.  Now, it\’s November so that does seem a tad more rational!

Fortunately, it is Friday and time for another \”5 Things.\” I hope it gets you singing, too… Enjoy!

1) The artist P!ink and her daughter Willow came together to sing \”A Million Dreams\” from The Greatest Showman film. Very touching!

2) It was only a matter of time before Bad Lip Reading published an awesome MLB version. And sometimes you just have to go out on the runway to find yourself…

3) I don\’t know about you but I love the theme from the Pirates of the Caribbean series. The 2Cellos guys do, too, apparently. They also have a great production team because the scenery is exceptional!

4) Just in case you were wondering what it would sound like if, say, Frank Sinatra or Boyz II Men had recorded \”Bohemian Rhapsody,\” Ten Second Songs has you covered! If they haven\’t already, a Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons tribute band should totally do a version as should a Medieval quartet!

5) And out of Saturday\’s tragedy in Pittsburgh comes help from a Muslim group that pledges to help their Jewish brethren. It\’s really beautiful as they offer some very practical assistance; a cooperative between two communities that would not always get along elsewhere in the world. If you want to contribute as well the Launch Good campaign is still going strong as of this morning.

Okay, that\’s all for now. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone! (And to my friends in the U.S.A.: Don\’t forget to turn the clocks back this weekend!)
