Advent Calendar 2018: Day 8

Good morning! On a chilly Saturday morning, it seemed fitting to settle in with a cup of something hot and \”O Holy Night\” sung by Lauren Daigle.

A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new glorious morn
Fall on your knees
O hear the angels\’ voices
O night divine
O night when Christ was born
O night divine o night
O night divine
The phrase \”the weary world\” resonates especially well this time of year. The holidays can most definitely be weary-ing in the worst way. But, today, let us feel that \”thrill of hope.\” We have the privilege of knowing the Savior was already born and thus the \”reason for the season.\” Even if it takes an extra cup of coffee/tea to convince ourselves this time of year, it\’s a season worth rejoicing over!
