Happy Friday and Happy 2019! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year with family and loved ones! It\’s been awhile, hasn\’t it? But only because yours truly had absolutely spaced it last week… funny how a couple of weeks can make one forget! Well, it\’s time to catch up with a new \”5 Things\” for 2019. Hope you enjoy!
2) My coworkers and I are currently hooked on The Masked Singer (Wednesdays on Fox) and, while I don\’t love the judges, the concept is surprisingly fun. It\’s a \”Wait! I know this voice!\” experience that makes for some great watercooler talk. Each week one celeb is unmasked but the others remain a secret. Let me know if you, too, think The Peacock is Donny Osmond?
3) It\’s it cool that actual books are still alive and well? There\’s just something satisfying about turning a book page vs those e-reader devices.
4) Clip #1 this week from The Tonight Show is a parody of the Netflix film The Bird Box. Don\’t worry, if you haven\’t seen it, this should about cover you. (The film is lame on the scale of Sandra Bullock\’s thriller Premonition.)
5) Clip #2 is a bunch of folks singing the incomparable Kelly Clarkson\’s hit \”Since You\’ve Been Gone.\” (Don\’t worry, she\’s singing, too!) It reminds me of all those times you\’re doing laundry with headphones on, singing at the top of your lungs. Then, of course, someone walks into the room. Bravo to all those good sports!
Okay, that\’s all for now. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
