Happy Easter, my friends! He is risen. He is risen, indeed!
2020 has already been very trying for all of us no matter where we are in the world. COVID-19 has disrupted life the likes of which many of us had never experienced in our lifetimes.
Today, as we celebrate our Lord\’s resurrection, let us also pray for mass healing and the comfort of those who have lost loved ones to the virus. Being isolated and losing someone dear to a highly publicized event are especially difficult to bear.
The beauty of this period in time are all the \”helpers\” out there. Neighbors banding together, strangers supplying hand sanitizer, and innumerable craft mavens cranking out masks for high risk and medical persons are just the tip of the iceberg. This is what it means to be a \”good citizen\” as we were told in school and I hope that we\’ll have many more opportunities to show care and generosity to others.
