Good morning! The great Andy Williams was born on today\’s date in 1930. Since I can remember, my family would listen to a vinyl anthology featuring Andy\’s rendition of \”It\’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.\” Usually, we\’d break out the records to serenade us while decorating the Christmas tree.
This year the lyrics about parties and caroling are like some wistful remembrance of those \”… tales of the glories of / Christmases long, long ago.\” Even if those glories were only a year ago.
Despite restrictions and viruses, I pray that we can all find some way to restore our joy in the coming season and connect with loved ones. Let\’s not concentrate on what we can\’t do but on the so many intangibles about this the \”most wonderful time of the year.\” This is true no matter where or how we pass the day.
