Good morning! Saturday morning is here! Hopefully, you were able to enjoy a little sleep-in session.
Poet Christina Georgina Rossetti was born on December 5, 1830. A contemporary of Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Rossetti\’s poetry and prose were more overtly written in the veins of faith and piety.
I was introduced to Rossetti\’s writing in my undergrad years, quickly falling in love with her Christmas poetry anthology. Here\’s one particular stanza for you to enjoy. Her words about Christmas are so simple, yet so true. In this case, she astutely reaches the conclusion of the best possible gift for a Savior:
Have a wonderful day, everyone!
