Good morning! Each Monday, The Ajennda will be featuring a new question (and answer). Feel free to answer it on your own in the comments below, on Instagram, Twitter, on your weekly Zoom meeting for work… It\’s just to get a conversation started.
Question: What brings you joy?
Answer: A lot of simple things bring me joy like any excuse to curl up in my favorite chair with a book and a cup of tea. It\’s just a lovely way to pass a couple of hours in the evening to \”detox\” from work and whatever else might be going on.
The second thought that came to mind is watching birds! During the winter here in the southwest, we get to see quite a menegerie of birds passing through on their southern migration. This year I saw starlings, woodpeckers, robins, and some little black-headed birds that alternate between sounding like a pleasant cricket or a short, breathy whistle.
The robins seem to have the biggest personalities as they are highly territorial. Not to mention that they are very curious. On more than one occassion, I\’ve caught them watching me through the window with their heads cocked to the side (in confusion, no doubt!).
Okay, that\’s all for now. Have a wonderful day and don\’t forget to share what brings you joy in the comment section below!
