5 Things: Task Your Robot Edition

Happy Friday! Hope that you all had a great week. I don\’t know about you but the second week back to work after the holidays was more difficult than the first. Friday could not come soon enough!

Thankfully, that promised land of the workweek has arrived. Don\’t worry, your weekly dose of \”5 Things\” is also here to get you through to the weekend. Enjoy!

1) Hometasking has returned to the Taskmaster YouTube channel with a new challenge! The latest challenge is to create a quick change outfit. You can even submit your own video to potentially be featured on the channel. This could be a fun family activity for the weekend!

2) Speaking of fun activities, I recently found some neat origami videos on YouTube to try. (You can see one of my attempts on Instagram.) So far the cat boxes and magic circles are my favorites.

3) Check out this guy\’s giant robot! The Japanese engineer created a robot that he could ride in and it looks like a blast. My only question is when can I try it?

4) I know that I\’ve shared this recipe before but it definitely deserves a second look: Pumpkin Doughnut Muffins from MarthaStewart.com. I leave off the sugar coating to eat them warm out of the oven… wowee! These beauties turn out extremely well every time and you might win over a non-pumpkin eater in the process. Note: If it\’s difficult to find buttermilk where you live, you can make your own. For some reason, it\’s very scarce in the grocery stores around here.

5) And saving the best for last: A nurse in North Carolina who treats COVID patients won the lottery!

Okay, that\’s all for now. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
