5 Things: Largest Euro Dessert Edition

5 Things: Largest Euro Dessert Edition

Happy Friday! Hope you all had a great week like the couple who received more than just clams to celebrate their 34th wedding anniversary. Isn’t it cute that they decided to keep it?

Well, even if the only extra that you got from your anniversary dinner was heartburn, it is Friday, friends! You know that means it’s time to grab your favorite hot beverage and sip away while you check out another “5 Things.” Enjoy!

Eurovision is coming to the US! (Am I the only one excited about this?) Hosts Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson will front the 8-week competition with music artists from 50 states and 5 US territories. Michael Bolton, Macy Gray, Sisqo, and The Crystal Method are among the big names who will be singing for their state’s honor!

Speaking of states… your state has a favorite dessert or so Google Analytics says! All I have to say is really, New Mexico? Bananas Foster? I’m so disappointed!

Scientists have put together one massive family tree to trace humanity’s beginnings. Apparently, they can trace migration. It’s pretty cool!

In honor of the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day, check out this delish Soda Bread Muffins with Cheddar recipe. It’s a nice treat and lovely that you don’t have to deal with any yeast. Yum!

And The Guardian has some excellent advice on how ordinary civilians can help during the crisis in Ukraine. If you’re the praying type, please join me by setting a calendar reminder to pray for Ukraine and the Russians openly opposing the invasion each morning.

Okay, that’s all for now. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
