One school had a particularly memorable picture day this year… I can just imagine the amusement and possible mortification after seeing those pictures.

Do you have any of these volumes in near pristine condition languishing on your bookshelf? I have to admit that I have attempted (and failed) to finish Ulysses. Sigh. Sorry, James Joyce!

Since her majesty’s passing, the internet has been sharing some of her favorite recipes. I can’t wait to try these “drop scones.” They’re what we Yanks would call pancakes, of course. Yum!
And, speaking of carb-loading, these Apple Cream Cheese Muffins sound divine! There’s just something about the scent of baked apples and cinnamon in the fall.
