Happy Friday! Hope you all had a great week like the McDonald’s employees whose mistake was discovered and returned by a customer. What a class act!

Well, even if you didn’t get a little extra something with your breakfast this week, it is Friday! And you know that means it’s time to check out “5 Things” to make your day a bit more bearable before the weekend. Enjoy!

I may have shared this song before. So, why not share it again? “Loud Pipes” from the band Ratatat came up in my playlist this week and it’s quite good without a worry about any iffy lyrics that you’d want to avoid at… say… the office.

Despite what Afghan leadership says, the women of the country have experienced a different reality under the new regime. The BBC decided to let them tell us in their own words. It’s baffling to contemplate these restrictions in the year 2023!

A great idea: cover parking lots in solar panels! There’s actually a store in my town where the parking is beneath a series of solar panels that also power the store. It makes a lot of sense in a place where we get 300+ days of sun every year.

An interesting article from yesterday: a fugitive was hiding in plain sight as a pizza chef in France! Apparently, he’s been on the run since 2006. Maybe his pizza was so good that no one wanted to turn him in?

And just a reminder: You’re gonna be OK.

Okay, that’s all for now. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
