Happy Friday! Hope you all had a great week like some of us who were at a beautiful wedding in Charleston, South Carolina. Congrats to Jess and Bruce!

Well, even if you didn’t have the privilege of attending the wedding of the decade, it is Friday, my friends! And you know that means that “5 Things” is back on track to make your day go a little faster to the weekend. Enjoy!

Speaking of Charleston, South Carolina, Travel + Leisure has a great list of things to do in the “Holy City.” If you happen to get around that way, I highly recommend a stroll downtown and a visit to Folly Island.

A Roman mausoleum has been unearthed in South London! All of the history in the British Isles just blows my mind sometimes.

Here are “11 Mental Tricks to Stop Overthinking Everything” which the algorithm correctly determined that I needed. The tips look pretty useful!

Mental Floss’ list of “46 Books that Changed the World” really got me to thinking. I’m surprised at the number of these books that I was required to read in school. Do you think that anything doesn’t belong on this list? Or perhaps should be added?

And, lastly, this is your friendly reminder that Sunday is Father’s Day! Don’t forget to call your dad or the fatherly influence in your life. I’m told that they kinda like the phone calls or, even better, a good sit down over a meal.

Okay, that’s all for now. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
