Happy Friday! Hope you had a great week like a delightful certain someone who got to grandma and grandpa’s house. What a cutie and so smart! Wouldn’t you agree?

Well, even if your week was nowhere near as delightful and you forgot that Sunday is Mother’s Day in the US (hint, hint), it is Friday, friends. And you know that means it’s time to sit down with a refreshing cup of Boba tea to check out another “5 Things.” Enjoy!
Starting off, here’s a song for all you moms and motherly people!
This week a film on Amazon Prime called Promised caught my eye. The premise of the film is two Italian-Australian families who arrange a marriage between their young children. Then, what happens 20 years later. It’s a cute story although definitely more “Indie” film than a Hollywood blockbuster.
Speaking of Italians, I have fond memories of eating Pastina as a child. Then this recipe crossed my path and those memories came back. Simple and delicious! Sadly, finding Pastina in the stores around here is quite the challenge. Thank goodness for the internet!
There’s a fairly recent project to preserve and elevate the female artists of Venice. So interesting! You know that there must have been female artists but where to find them poses quite a problem. That problem could be a thing of the past.
And, even in wartime, the President of Ukraine will respond to kind letters. Adorable!
Okay, that’s all for now. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone! Don’t forget to hug a mum on Sunday and, as always, please pray for Ukraine.
