Happy Friday! Hope you all had a great week like the 80 million rural homes in India that now have clean drinking water! That really puts the week into perspective. Doesn’t it? Suddenly the fact that your seasonal allergies kicked up early is inconsequential because at least you’ve had clean drinking water for your whole life.

Well, even if your seasonal allergies did decide to make an appearance in February, it is Friday, friends. And you know what that means! It’s also time to check out another “5 Things” while cradling your box of Kleenex like a baby. Enjoy!
This song from the sage Black-Eyed Peas seemed to be appropriate this week. The world seems to have lost that camaraderie and goodwill that we experienced during the pandemic. (Weird to say!) “Where is the love?” I wonder.
You all will be glad to know there is now a “dog bed for humans” on Etsy. I, personally, prefer to cocoon above ground level but to each his own!
A letter in the UK has now arrived 100 years late! This makes me wonder where it was lost or what sort of circuitous route did this letter have to take? Also, if you’re a postal worker who can answer why similar stories to this seem to happen at intervals, I’d love to hear it!
My fellow tea lovers might appreciate this guy taking a dip in your cuppa.
And, apparently, men have feared women for centuries and that’s why mythical monsters tend to be female? (I laughed out loud at this!)
Okay, that’s all for now. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

P.S. My new book ‘Another Time’ is out now. If you like what you read here, I hope that you’ll support this blog by spreading the word. Thank you, friends!
