Happy Friday! Hope you all had a great week like the folks who discovered that nature is good medicine. Apparently, there are 28 studies to backup this claim.

Well, even if you weren’t able to spend any quality time out of doors due to the sweltering temperatures, it is Friday, my friends! That also means it’s time to crank up that fan and check out another “5 Things.” Enjoy!

No matter how your week went, hopefully, it was at least better than the cleaner who accidentally destroyed years of research. Can you just imagine how horrifying that would have been for the cleaner and the researchers? Yikes!

The podcast The Last Archive has a little something for both nerds and creatives (or those of us who happen to be both). The discussion on player pianos went down an interesting rabbit hole that encompasses early “AI” music, the importance of humanity, and the most famous musician you’ve never heard of.

In case you haven’t seen the news, orcas are attacking boats. So, run for your life! Yeah, I’m kidding. People are not in danger unless you want to count the damage to their boat-maintenance savings. Ouch!

Fellow fans of Indian Matchmaking on Netflix might be interested to hear the latest from the podcast This is Uncomfortable and the real story from cast member Nadia herself! The episode centers around making reality television and all the “liberties” that tend to go into editing, casting, and everything else.

Lastly, you can get a free ebook of Gone with the Wind if you just realized that you never made it through the book when you borrowed it from the library at 13. Maybe I’m just projecting?

Okay, that’s all for now. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone, and a very Happy Independence Day, USA!
